Touchless Biometric System (TBS), the innovation trailblazer in biometrics technology, and Software House, a recognized leader in security innovations, are now providing customers with a cost-effective and scalable access control solution matching the ever-changing security requirements any business faces.
TBS WebEdition connects the TBS comprehensive portfolio of biometric readers with the Software House C•CURE 9000 security and event management system. With C•CURE 9000, the system is capable of monitoring events, managing personnel, viewing video, creating reports and much more. The flexibility of this system grants security professionals the freedom to deploy a unique security solution for their entire business.
While C•CURE 9000 holds the master database of users, the ‘TBS C•CURE 9000 VictorAPI SyncTool’ NT service automatically synchronizes user data to the TBS database. The synchronized user information contains first and last name, object ID, portrait image, PIN, and card number.
During enrollment, the TBS reader captures a picture of the user’s finger or iris and extracts the biometric marker points into a digital code, called ‘template’. When saving the template, the TBS reader deletes the captured picture, encrypts the template with a unique device-specific key and sends it to the TBS server. The TBS server then synchronizes the template to all TBS readers. This process takes only a few seconds, the user can immediately authenticate on all TBS readers.
This integration allows Software House customers to add biometrics to their Access Control projects very easily: managed from a single platform whilst continuing to use C•CURE 9000 as front-end. The TBS biometric subsystem works in the background, handling all biometric data in a highly secure environment. Thanks to this universal approach customers can select from a wide range of biometric devices and technologies, and combine multiple biometric technologies in a single installation.
A Long-Term Collaboration
‘Our alliance with Johnson Controls started few years back when, working hand-in-hand, we won one of the prestigious governmental sites in the Middle East. The collaboration offers a complete integrated solution to our customers, improving efficiency and eliminating buddy punching while maintaining the highest security and performance standards', said Nabil Rahal, Global Technology Alliances Director at TBS.
When paired with an industry-leading software provider like Software House, TBS readers deliver a higher level of functionality and security. As the inventors of the 3D touchless technology over a decade ago, TBS strives for innovations that advance the always-evolving world of security access control systems. The broad range of TBS biometric readers and biometrics modalities (touch-based fingerprint, touchless fingerscan as well as iris) allows to select the solution that best meets your access control or workforce management application. TBS readers are easy to install, connect, manage, and use.
Both TBS and Software House are looking forward to a fruitful collaboration by offering state-of-the-art access control systems meeting the highest demands for security and flexibility from the market.
