We’re excited to announce a new opportunity for a Full Stack Software Developer to join our TBS Biometrics R&D team in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of our biometric platform, backend services, and supporting tools.
At TBS Biometrics, we secure facilities worldwide using advanced biometric technologies. Our solutions cover access control, time & attendance, and workforce management. In your role as Full Stack Software Engineer, you will

Design, implement, test, and deploy ASP.NET Core API services and background services.
- Contribute backend components and tools supporting the BioManager platform.
- Build and maintain Blazor web applications.
- Model, optimize, and maintain SQL Server schemas and stored procedures (T-SQL).
- Improve performance, reliability, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Help keep our .NET solutions current and maintainable (we are on .NET 8).
- Collaborate on real-time data delivery solutions (Pub/Sub, WebSockets, SignalR).
- Use AI-supported development tools to improve code quality and speed.
- Contribute to a culture of craftsmanship, simplicity, and secure engineering principles.
Skills & Experience
Must have
- C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, EF Core
- SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL)
- REST APIs
- Blazor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Real-time communication (Pub/Sub, WebSockets)
- Applied security best practices (OWASP, secure API development)
Nice to have
- IIS, Azure, Azure DevOps
- Angular, TailwindCSS, Docker, Redis
- SignalR, MassTransit, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus
- Experience with distributed systems, message queues, or microservices
- Knowledge of cloud architectures and native scaling strategies
- Enterprise identity management (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, Federated Identity)
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with performance tuning and observability tools
Mandatory
- Good written and spoken English for daily communication in an international team
- The Czech Republic citizenship is required due to regulatory and security compliance
